"Last Day of Physical Therapy"

I came to physical therapy for treatment of upper back pain and neck pain due to overexertion during exercise. While here, I not only received treatment to lessen the pain but also received training as how to better care for myself and take preventative measures. I believe the hands on approach here at Avante PT is spot on!

I have been to a physical therapy office previously, who was barely hands on and had me doing exercises during my PT time that I could have done on my own time. With the combination of the hands on approach and the assigned exercises (which were gradually assigned instead of all at once), I was able to make a full recovery.
I believe that what I have learned from Avante will stay with me and help me take the measures I need to stay active and mobile into the future.

When I first started PT my back pain was fairly severe and was exacerbated by my job. After a month of PT, my pain level had gone down from a 7 to a 1/10, and very rarely bothered me anymore. Bonnie was fantastic and in teaching me exercises and discussing how to modify my daily routine to help prevent further pain. I'm very surprised at how quickly and easily I have been able to become pain free! I'm so glad I tried PT (after much unhelpful chiropractic) and wish I had done this sooner.

My PT and PT associates were extremely knowledgeable, accessible and caring. Jon is clearly an expert in both sports medicine and in getting the average person back to normal activities. He provided a good mix of manual therapy and exercise training.
I also really like the layout of the facility and the careful choice of equipment. Clearly a top rate facility with excellent, dedicated staff! I have been to other PT facilities and clearly see the difference.

Todd and Dana did an outstanding job working on my shoulder. Todd was friendly, knowledgeable, caring and took time to explain each step of therapy and why it was needed. Towards the end of my therapy, Todd showed true excitement at my range of motion which had progressed to the desired levels. My shoulder feels great! Better than it has in a long time. Though I have never had physical therapy prior to this, I can't imagine that I could have received more expert care than I received from Todd. I consider him a friend and a model of what a physical therapist should be!!!

The Avante staff and Rachel specifically, have been overwhelmingly friendly on a week to week basis. It has been a pleasant experience to return to smiling faces that are friendly to speak with, and can remember quite well prior conversations. The Avante Team was able to pull together over 9-10 weeks and take my pain level from around an 8/10 to 0/10. I have since regained the ability to sit comfortably, lie and walk virtually pain free. I can't thank them enough for a pleasing experience with the Avante Team!
