Avante Physical Therapy offers therapeutic Massage Therapy as a maintenance program either during their course of physical therapy, or after discharge from physical therapy. Our licensed massage therapist's focus is medically based massage, with an emphasis on soft tissue release and manipulation.

While massage therapy is applied primarily with the hands, sometimes the forearms or elbows are used for a deeper and more focused effect. Massage therapy assists the body to heal itself, and promotes achieving or increasing health and well-being. Some of the techniques that are used by our massage therapists are trigger point release, myofacial release, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, aided stretching, and muscle stripping. These techniques affect the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems of the body.
